My headcanon is that gaurd armor is magically enhanced to make the ponies wearing it all look identical. Celestia and Luna each have their own varient of this armor. Guards working with Celestia for the day become handsome aryan stallions, and those same guards working with Luna turn into bat ponies.

I know how you feel. I haven't been able to post an update on my story in two weeks. It also doesn't help that I'm a slow writer and it takes me like 3 and a half hours to write a 4-5 post long update.
And to be completely honest, I would rather spend the few hours of free time I get relaxing and playing vidya or something.
But I guess I'll have to figure out something. I'm only like 1/3 of the way done with my story, and I don't want to just leave abandon it.

You could probably just retexture one of the models to make it look like a bat pony I could probably do it, but you'd need to edit the model to add the ear tufts and bat wings and such.
It's times like this that I wish I had spent my time learning how to do these things instead of playing tf2 all day.

We kind of just gotten to Mosina. The others will arrive, eventually, don't worry.

On top of that, the more characters you have, the harder it is to keep the story straight. You can only describe one interaction at a time. I think three characters is perfectly manageable, four too. But beyond that, it gets difficult.

I'm a spoiled picky fucking bastard who hates fruit because I don't like the taste. You all, your stories and pictures made me get up early today, cycle for half an hour to our local market, buy a goddamn mango for two of my hard earned shekels, and cycle for another half an hour home.

I have no knowledge on mangoes, so naturally I fucked up when I tried to cut it. It looked so easy on the videos. So now I'm sitting here, with something what looks like orange diarrhea in a bowl, which came from a mango I didn't fucking want in the first place.

I hope you're fucking happy.
